For over 20 years, Kumeu Storage Ltd has provided a safe and secure storage facility for those in the Auckland region. With over 13 years experience, owners Steve and Helen, have lived on the nine acre lifestyle property and are happy to help you out at any time.
Most importantly we hold all the necessary Resource Consents to operate as a storage facility, vital for insurance purposes when it comes to storing your personal items.

Regular pest control - an extensive pest control program has been put in place to ensure your goods have maximum protection against vermin and insects. This ranges from bait stations to spraying for insects. Because no one can guarantee what is brought into Kumeu Storage we exceed recommended programmes to ensure your goods have maximum protection against pests.
Fire Extinguishers - fire extinguishers have been installed in every block. These are regularly checked and maintained.
CCTV Systems – cameras have been strategically placed throughout the facility to help us keep an eye on things. The images are recorded and retained for a period to provide added security.
Essentially our business is simple with low overheads. We therefore can pass on these benefits and provide cheap storage to our clients. Unlike our competitors, we do not charge excessive prices for storage. A lot of our existing clients have been here for a number of years, which reinforces the great pricing when compared to other storage facilities.
In addition our units are purpose built and do not suffer any problems that shipping containers have, i.e.they are known to overheat in the summer months and then suffer from major condensation during winter. Would we personally store our valuable possessions in a shipping container, absolutely not!
As mentioned above we have a multitude of unit sizes, with pricing starting from $100.00 (incl GST) per month, so we can easily accommodate all of our client’s requirements.

If you are unable to visualize the space the easiest way to work out what you may need is to simply look at say your largest room in your house, for example the main bedroom. Can you fit everything you want to store into that room? If so, simply measure the room. Should the room be too small then perhaps double the size.
Finally, as a word of caution when storing your items please give due consideration that you may want to retrieve items, thus you should create a small corridor, within the unit. We have seen clients store their goods from the back wall up the front door (leaving no internal access) only to return say a month later with all their goods outside looking for a particular item. Invariably the item they were searching for was right at the back, typical!
